Brewery Updates

There was lots of brewing, then lots of packaging, but finally we get to drink the beers. Come and join us – Biweekly Brewery Update

The past two weeks have just been all about brewing and packaging, but for once we also take time out to drink all of these new beers we’ve brewed and packaged. Come and join us at all of the events we’re having across Scandinavia in the next week, if you’re not stopping by our Brewery Tap Room this weekend.

A New Pale Ale

Sorry Not Sorry

We always encourage the members of our brewery team to develop in their own right as brewers. On this occasion it is Jimmy’s time to shine, with his own recipe for this thirst quenching Pale Ale. Perfect after a long day in the brewery.

As far as Pale Ales are concerned, there hasn’t been too many in the last while. What with the trend in Session IPAs, why brew a Pale Ale if everyone’s drinking Session IPAs. What’s the difference you ask? Well the difference is what we’d like to call brewer’s discretion. Which is to say, what did the brewer have in mind when they brewed the beer. In our world our Session IPAs are from 4-5% ABV, Pale Ales 5-6% and IPAs 6-8%.

Hello Sweden.

Two more beers available at your local bolag.

On the 1st of December these two beers have joined our other nine at Systembolaget in Sweden. They’ll be there over the Christmas season and into the new year. Both of them are on the shelves in stores in Gothenburg, and available to order to your local store, either in-store, or via systembolaget.se

Thank you to everyone who has already bought them, and continue to support our growing brewery. Our goal for 2018 will still be to release a new beer at Systembolaget every month, so get them while you can.

Du luktar lite som första gången jag träffade dig.

Hops aromatic flavour with a sweet and clear bitterness, elements of orange flowers, grapefruit, passion fruit, toffee and herbs.

Still not found what you’re looking for?

Malty, nuanced taste with of a little sweetness, chocolates, dark syrup, wort bread, nuts, orange and coffee.

Some News.

A creative’s guide to Gothenburg & West Sweden – 6 Dec

“Think Sweden, and most people think of Stockholm. But as those in the know will tell you, the hipper side of the Nordic nation is actually to be found in the West.

Once a nondescript port city, Gothenburg has undergone a creative resurgence in recent years. Nowadays it’s home to exciting bands, cool dance clubs, chic vinyl stores, indie hangouts, cool coffee shops, cutting-edge interior design stores, and more.”

Four New Beers

Only at our Brewery Tap Room this weekend

Since the first day we always wanted to release new beers at our own Tap Room first. So far it’s been the case, and this weekend is no exception. However, we won’t just be releasing one new beer, but there will also be three new beers on tap for the very first time. We’re thinking the place will be a bit packed, but that’s why we’re open Friday and Saturday. And there’s one big difference between our pub and any other pub, and that is that it’s tough to run out of beer.

We’ve been trying all four of these beers during the packaging this past two weeks, and they’re all very different. You might have your favourite style, but don’t miss out on trying all four.

As always, doors open Friday at 5pm and Saturday at 2pm. Come by and say hi.

And finally.

2017 is so 2018.

We’re into our last month of 2017, and it’s been a buys, busy year. In two weeks we’ll be posting a bit of a look back at the year that was, which you shouldn’t miss out on.

2018 will be a year of some more growth, as always, but also a year when we focus a lot more on our Sour Brewery down at Sockerbruket where we started. There’s some new design, labels and beers coming from down there, so if you’d like to know what’s happening, then follow us on Facebook or Instagram, where we post day to day happenings at the breweries.

That’s it from us for this week. Until next time.

Keep well
