15 Apr Two weeks filled with exports and ending off this week at the Haket Beer Festival 2017 – Weekly Brewery Update
This weekend we attended another festival, this time at Haket, one of our favourite pubs in Gothenburg, and packed some more pallets of beer, to export to Estonia, Italy, Finland & Scotland.
Great breweries. Great beers.
That is the Haket Beer Festival 2017.
We ended our week at the Haket Beer Festival, together with a host of great breweries. Haket was the first pub where we dropped off our first batch of Black Ale Chilli, beer number one. It’s been one of our favourite pubs, even before we thought of opening a brewery, that’s why they got the first bottles.
Since then, we’ve always attended this festival, where they invite some great Gothenburg breweries, along with some international friends. The festival is hosted in their pub, which as you can imagine, is rather large, to accommodate all the people.
For this year, we brought with us Göteborgswits, and our last keg of Sour Berry Quite Contrary, which was by far the most popular. There was also a few cans of A Moment of Clarity, GBG Beer Week 2017 available. We’re really happy that A Moment of Clarity is rating in the top 20 Session IPAs in the world right now 🙂
Hello World. Exports leaving for Estonia, Scotland, Finland & Italy this week.
As a brewery with four of the six owners not of Swedish origins, we’ve also had the world as our goal for our brewery. This past week, we have added Estonia to the countries where we export to. Last month we added Germany to the list as well, and they have already received their shipment and it was great to see all the photos posted online of their customers enjoying our beer.
Next week we’re shipping some pallets to Estonia, Finland, Scotland and Italy. Expect some beers from our Standard Assortment, but as always there’ll be some new beers from our Special Assortment mixed in.
Axel Hagman is one of our brewers, and have been with us nearly since the start. This past week he had some fun whilst mashing in. For those that don’t know what that is, you can read more about Mashing In here. But in short, it’s the start of the brewing process when you start mixing the malt with the water to extract the sugars.
That’s it from us for this week. Until next week.
