Black Ale Chilli is our first beer. We brew it from time to time to celebrate our birthdays. This time around we commemorate our 10th anniversary. This spicy and hoppy beer combines the rich, roasted flavours of a black ale with the bitterness and complexity of an IPA, creating a unique and enjoyable tasting experience.

Pouring a deep, dark brown with a frothy tan head, the aroma is a tantalising blend of roasted malt and coffee, with a subtle hint of smokiness that adds to the beer’s complexity. As you take a sip, the bold and hoppy flavours hit your taste buds, with a powerful bitterness that gives way to the warm and lingering heat of the chilli.

Despite the intensity of the chilli, it never overwhelms the other flavours, but instead adds a spicy kick that complements the richness of the beer. The finish is dry and bitter, with a satisfying roasted flavour that lingers on your palate.
