No cow on t’ ice

Our collab beer with the lads from Brew York. This Double Dry Hopped Pale is a real hoppy brew full of fruit and bitter hop notes, hopped with Amarillo, Azacca and Citra.

The full Swedish phrase which gets lost in translation is ‘There is no cow on the ice as long as the hind part is on land’, or as we say here “Det är ingen ko på isen så länge halva är på land”. The nearest the UK have is ‘Don’t worry, it isn’t really a problem yet and there’s time to fix it’. We think this idiom is awesome so it titles this juicy and hoppy little DDH Pale collab brewed with the equally awesome Brew York from the UK.

Born out of two friends passion (some would say obsession) for beer and brewing, Brew York have built a brewery in the center of York, England, where the experience and location is as enjoyable as the beer itself. These guys have a fantastic Beer Hall with 40 taps showing the largest and widest selection of beers, lagers and ciders in York and its surrounding area.

If you’re a big fan of Pale Ales, especially double dry hopped ones, we recommend trying our latest DDH Pale Ale, Here Comes The Sun currently in our special assortment, or one of our much loved Core Beers, Bobek Citra, our American Pale Ale which is available all year round.

We are Beerbliotek

A Craft Brewery founded in Gothenburg (Sweden) by four friends from different parts of the world. Our brewing philosophy is simple… keep brewing new beers that we, ourselves, would want to drink.

Our name is derived from the Latin word bibliothēca, meaning library, or a collection of books. A Beerbliotek, for us, would then mean a beer library, or a collection of beer.
