Beer Release #267. A West Coast DIPA.

West Coast DIPA
Our brewing philosophy has always been simple… collaborate with breweries we like & keep brewing beers that we, ourselves, would want to drink. This West Coast Double India Pale Ale with North Brewing Co. seems about right.

At the end of October, not long after our collab with Brew York, Darryl traveled to Leeds to meet up and brew with North Brewing Co. Together we brewed a West Coast DIPA, packed full of Chinook, Mosaic and Citra.
The aroma boasts notes of grapefruit, orange and rich pine, with a sherbet like bitterness on a slightly sweet, smooth round body. Bursting flavours of clementine, succulent pineapple, fresh green hops and a touch of lemon make for a super (dangerously) drinkable and crisp beer.
If you know North, you’ll know them for their excellent beers and their well known epic branding. With Refold and our very own Darryl, it was only ever going to result in such a beautiful can. Design agency Refold interpreted our supplied artwork, incorporating the ten degree ‘north’ angle and used our Beerbliotek’s colouring system with a minimal palette in a modular manner.
We are Beerbliotek
A Craft Brewery founded in Gothenburg (Sweden) by four friends from different parts of the world. Our brewing philosophy is simple… keep brewing new beers that we, ourselves, would want to drink.
Our name is derived from the Latin word bibliothēca, meaning library, or a collection of books. A Beerbliotek, for us, would then mean a beer library, or a collection of beer.
