Brewery Updates

A new Double IPA, a new Pale Ale and Colonial Hipster is heading to Systembolaget – Weekly Brewery Update

Beerbliotek Brewery packaging cans of beer.

Last week we brewed a new Double IPA, while this week we’ll release a new Pale Ale at our Tap Room, in between saying hi to our friends at The Brooklyn Brewery Mash and releasing our New England IPA, Colonial Hipster at Systembolaget.

New Pale Ale.

A Generous Pour.

It’s summer, and summers call for more Pale Ales. This one is aptly named “A Generous Pour”, 5,5% ABV and with the addition of Lactose and Orange Peel is sure to be refreshing.

We’re releasing it at our Tap Room this weekend, and will only be available in keg.

New Double IPA.

Du luktar lite som första gången jag träffade dig.

Last week Adam and Darryl went to Italy to attend the wedding of Viktor & Emma, true friends of the brewery. Richard was supposed to tag along, but a pregnant wife kept him at home. What he did instead was brew a beer in tribute to the two of them. Viktor has always supported us, since the start, and always had our beer available at the restaurants where he worked.

This is a Double IPA and only the 6th beer in 201 that has a Swedish name. Du luktar lit some första gången jag träffade dig, which loosely translates to; You smell a little like the first time I met you 🙂

We’re aiming to sell the first batch in pubs and restaurants, plus export, while the second batch will be heading to Systembolaget, hopefully at the start of December.

Hello Sweden.

Colonial Hipster is at Systembolaget September 1 🙂

[blockquote text=”In the early days, there was no place for haze,
but without delay, it became all the rage.
No filters get used, no palates abused,
a beer for all, not just colonial hipster dudes.

Colonial Hipster is the first IPA which we actually called a New England IPA. If you don’t know what a New England IPA is, then read this article on VinePair, which explains the difference really well.

This beer has been out in the market a while and was really well received, as can be seen by the ratings and comments on Untappd. And as per our strategy this year, we’re also releasing it at Systembolaget on the 1st of September, so don’t miss out.

C’mon Gothenburg.

See you at The Brooklyn Brewery Mash.

We’re all so looking forward this weekend and The Brooklyn Brewery Beer Mansion Gothenburg with our friends The Brooklyn BreweryDugges Ale och PorterbryggeriStigbergets BryggeriNya Carnegiebryggeriet and E.C. Dahls Bryggeri.

The great thing about it is that we don’t have to work, or pour beer, but can move along the taps with the public and drink some beer. All of us at the brewery will be there, so stop us and say hi if you feel like a chat. If you don’t have tickets, then you can get them here.

See you this weekend Gothenburg.
