Haket Beer Festival 2016
The Haket Beer Festival is always a lot of fun, as last year proved to be. We’re sharing the event with 20 other breweries, so there’s sure to be great beer on tap, in bottles and in cans.

Our canning line has finally made it across the ocean from the US, which made us very happy indeed. Not everyone was there to welcome it home, as some of us are working at the Nöjesguiden Beer Festival.
We were very excited this last week when we packaged our 150th beer, which in turn means we have managed to brew a new beer every week since we started 3 years ago. Number 150 is a Barley Wine, that we actually brewed in 2015 but bottled in 2016, so we called it “2016 is so 2015”.
2016 has started with a bang. We’ve been brewing flat-out in the new Kungsten Brewery, whilst also planning the sour beers we’ll be brewing in our old Sockerbruket Brewery. More on that later.
At the end of January, we will be attending the Nöjesguiden Beer Festival, our first festival for 2016.
Anders, our Logistic Manager and Co-owner will again make his way to Växjö.
Adam, will be making his way across from Sweden to the UK with some beer to join the other 30 breweries for this big bash.
This year for the first time we will be going to a festival in Norway. Richard, who’s one of our co-owners, a brewer and head of Sales and Export markets will be travelling to the festival.
We’re happy to announce that we have been invited to this year’s Copenhagen Beer Celebration, held on the 13th and 14th of May.
First off, a happy New Year to everyone and thank you for the support during 2015. We’re looking forward to adding some more beers to our beer library, and getting to more festivals in 2016.
