Back to normal after the Gothenburg Beer Week – Weekly Update
It has really been a busy time for us, and we’re sure, all the other breweries here in Gothenburg. What with the Gothenburg Beer Week past, as well as the Gothenburg Beer & Whisky Festival. So with that we’d like to say thank you to everyone involved in arranging the festivals here in Gothenburg, as well as for everyone who attended and made sure it was such a success.
The Gothenburg Beer and Whisky Festival set a new record for attendance. 20643 people to be exact, as well as 152 exhibitors with beer & whisky. Again, thank you for those that attended. We hope you had as much fun as we did.
We’re very proud of Hip Hops, that won a bronze medal for the 3rd best IPA at the festival. If you’re looking to try it, then you can always order it from Systembolaget.se and have it delivered to your closest store.

On the 2nd of May, we’ve got a new beer going into Systembolaget. Or actually three new beers, but more on the other two later. We’ve done four Berliners in the last while, and they seemed to get some positive reviews, especially one of them; “A Passion for Gingers”. In short it’s a Passion Fruit & Ginger Berliner, which we think is just in time for those warm days heading our way here in Sweden. Order yours from Systembolaget.se or have a look at where you can get hold of them on the shelf.
Two additional beers that is going into Systembolaget on the 2nd of May, are our Cash Cow Brewing range. There’s two beers available for you to buy, or order from Systembolaget. Minimum Wage is a 4,5% Session IPA, whilst High Roller is an 8,0% Double IPA. They’re both mass produced small batch beers.
This year it’s the first time we’ll be at the Kalmar Beer Festival, so we’re also looking forward to seeing everyone there. It’ll be Henrik and Linus joining the party.
We’ve had some questions about how to join the Beerbliotek Member’s Club. The easiest way to read about it, and join is by going to the facebook page, and signing up. The member’s club organises events down at the brewery and special tastings, so be sure not to miss out.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration 13-14 May 2016
Joining us this year at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration, on the 13th and 14th of May are the following breweries. Alefarm Brewing, Det Lille Bryggeri, Ghost Brewing, Dry & Bitter Brewing Company, Flying Couch Brewing, ALL IN BREWING, Hyllie Bryggeri, Poppels Bryggeri, Stockholm Brewing Co., Haandbryggeriet, 7 Fjell Bryggeri, Sundbytunet and Kinn Bryggeri.
The beers we’re taking with us are still in the works and they will be announced closer to the time. So watch this space. For more information, follow CBC on Facebook, or get hold of your tickets here, as there’s still some available for some sessions, then we’ll see you in Copenhagen.
