This week we gave a name to our collaboration Imperial Gose, with AF Brew and we dig into GBG Beer Week 2017, the facts around it and the history behind it. East meets West in our American Pale Ale, Bobek Citra and we release our Modern Pale Ale, Spoiler Alert, at our Tap Room.
This week ended with a collaboration brew with our Russian friends from AF Brew. We also spent some time planning all of our events for the GBG Beer Week. We’ve got some exciting news coming out soon, so we hope you’re going to be in town the 17th to the 25th of March?
In the last week we launched a new Imperial Stout, to coincide with the US inauguration, there was the news about our GBG Beer Week beer, we’re looking forward to our new beers launching at Systembolaget on the 1st of February and we had a great weekend at our Tap Room meeting the locals in Gothenburg.
When we were asked to brew the official GBG Beer Week beer for 2017, it was like suddenly understanding something… A Moment of Clarity. How could we go wrong? We are only following in the footsteps of one of Sweden’s best ever beers.
On Friday we will be releasing our latest new beer, aptly called “Some men just want to watch the world burn”. It’s an eleven percent Imperial Stout, with some Chilli and Cocoa added for extra flavour.

For this week I decided to go into the brewery to chat to Richard Bull. One of the original founders of Beerbliotek, one of the head brewers and Sales & Export Manager, to ask him about our plans for 2017.
This is our last brewery update for 2016. It’s been a fantastic year. So many collaborations with so many great breweries. Awesome festivals. Lots of travelling, and some pretty great beers were had along the way.
This week we’re talking about Russia, Berliners, Systembolaget and a lot of Low ABV beers.

Things have settled down nicely after the chaotic opening weekend of our Tap Room, and we’re looking forward to opening again in a week’s time. Adam says thanks to everyone he met on his short trip to London, for some meetings, beer drinking and good times. We’re definitely going to do it again.
