Beer Release #299. Bockstreet’s Bock, Alright! – Maibock.
Brewing über traditional beer styles is tricky. This series is about meeting the demands of the craft we love whilst letting the beer do the singing.

Our brewers didn’t go with the flow, but crossed the stream to brew up this crossover between the forgotten Black IPA, and the big New England IPA. For the first time our brewery combined London Fog yeast with roasted dark malts to create a super fruit and hop forward Black IPA with a moderate bitterness built on a strong malt backbone.
As a brewery we are constantly taking on the challenge to brew new kinds of beers. Sometimes, as the name suggests, we brew Even more of exactly the same. This is another Double IPA, making it our 30th Double IPA in our beer library.
Mild mannered is our first English Mild Ale. An easy to drink, laid back beer to sit back and slow down with. A translucent copper colour with hints of cocoa nibs, tobacco and leather on the nose with an added layer of raw fruit and toasted biscuits. This malt forward low ABV brew delivers robust flavours of raisin, dried fruit and chocolate balanced with toffee notes in the background with a smooth mouth feel.
I never agreed to date you without a beard, is our 10th New England IPA and features our brewery staff as models. Herbal aromas with green grass and limes sit alongside a backbone of toasted oats and vanilla. The mouthfeel is sweet, slightly woody but still fresh. Thick and creamy, this IPA is all kinds of citrus, herbs and candy.
Our 293rd recipe and 7th Brown Ale is American-style with zesty hops on the nose. It has a pronounced bitterness and underlying roasted and caramel maltiness. Hints of blueberries, sponge cake and coffee add to the depth of this well-balanced Ale.
Murky. Dirty. Matt. Hazy. Grumlig. Cloudy. Misty. Oklar. Dim. Gunk. Gloop. Tjock. Grunge. Sludge. New England DIPA. Muck.
Our latest IPA is tiny. We wanted to create a new low ABV beer, that was hazy, full-bodied and heavily dry-hopped. We threw Azacca, Amarillo, Columbus and Citra hops at it, which gives you aromas of stone fruit and ripe citrus. It’s fermented on London Fog yeast, amping up the haziness and even more of those fruity flavours.
