We don’t close the brewery that often, but this week all the staff that works in production had the week off. They’ve done a great job over the past year, or since we moved into our new Kungsten brewery and brewed our first beer there on the 21st of October 2015.
During this week I also ventured into the brewery to interview Adam for our brewery update. He and Axel was just busy finishing up a brew day. Hip Hops as I recall.
Crazy days in the brewery. One misses those on vacation for sure. More hands make light work, especially on a week like this where we packaged more than 15 000 bottles.
It’s been another busy week at the brewery. Even busier than usual, what with people on holidays and all. No complaints, just more beer for us.
At the end of another busy week for all of us we ended up brewing another beer on the weekend. But not just any beer. Another sour beer to be specific. It’s not always that we brew on the weekends, but Richard asked if I wanted to join him down at our Sour Brewery to brew a Brett IPA, so I said sure.
This weekend is an important weekend in the Swedish calendar. It’s the period of time centred upon the summer solstice, and more specifically the Northern European celebrations that accompany the actual solstice or take place on a day between June 19 and June 25 and the preceding evening.
