In this week’s biweekly Brewery Update we release our latest IPA “Staring out Windows”, we chat a bit about our second collaboration with Nils Oscar and congratulate our Friends Dugges for being chosen to brew this year’s GBG Beer Week official beer for 2018.
Happy New Year. 2018 is already in full swing, the brewery is humming away and we’re preparing for a humdinger. This is the 5th year since we started this beer library and called it Beerbliotek. Besides being our 5th birthday, we also have great plans in store for our export markets, and in particularly for our Swedish market with two big releases at Systembolaget in the first quarter of 2018. More on that further down.
This week we take a look back at the year that was 2017. For us it was very much dominated by our Session IPA A Moment of Clarity, the official beer we brewed for GBG Beer Week 2017, the fifth expansion of our brewery, our continual growth in our export markets and last but not least the nine beer releases we did in Sweden at Systembolaget.
The past two weeks have just been all about brewing and packaging, but for once we also take time out to drink all of these new beers we’ve brewed and packaged. Come and join us at all of the events we’re having across Scandinavia in the next week, if you’re not stopping by our Brewery Tap Room this weekend.
Things have calmed down after the All In Beer Fest, our collaborations with De Molen, Norway Brewing Co & Örebro Brygghus are being packaged, we’re heading to Mikkeller Viktoriagade this weekend and Christmas is starting early at the Brewery Tap Room, where we’re releasing Christmas Nights, our 2015 Spiced Porter.
During this busy week we’ll be brewing three collaborations, with Brouwerij de Molen, Norway Brewing Company and Örebro Brygghus, while this weekend we’ll release the 2017 edition of our Imperial IPA Eternal Dankness, at the All In Beer Fest.
This past week we released two beers in our hometown of Gothenburg, there was the Pustervik IPA launch, Da Matteo turned ten, we shared some beers with friends at our Brewery Tap Room, and Adam was in Ireland brewing a collaboration with Whiplash.
In a week’s time we’ll be releasing Pustervik IPA, while last week we packed some international orders to no less than six countries and have some photos from our Member’s Club’s Crayfish party at the Brewery Tap Room.
Two more beers heading to Systembolaget alongside A Moment of Clarity, while one of them also went into Rum Barrels in our biweekly brewery update.
Last week we brewed our 200th beer, and celebrated by putting number 150 on the Beerbliotek Tap Room beer list over the weekend.
