Hip Hops. Hipster Hops.
As a brewery we’ve now brewed a total of 36 different IPAs. We love experimenting with different malt profiles, hop profiles and alcohol strengths. We had a few Rye IPAs a few Oat IPAs and a couple of Wheat IPAs. Hip Hops however is what we settled on as an IPA we want to represent what we think is a solid IPA. The recipe has improved since we brewed it the first time in 2014, and we personally think it tastes fantastic in a can, when you can get it fresh.
Hip Hops contains a combination of what we consider to be the current “Hipster Hops”. A clean malt profile of Pale Malt and Carapils leaves a crisp clean finish, allowing the hops to really shine.
Hip Hops has a very Hops Aromatic taste with a clear bitterness, hints of Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Mandarin, light Syrup and Clover Flowers.
As for numbers, this beer is number 49, in our beer library. We’ve done eleven different IPAs before Hip Hops, containing all kinds of different hops, and malt. It’s also the second beer we’ve had available at Systembolaget in Sweden, since we started.
The image gallery below shows that this beer has gone through the entire design change in labels, and has also moved from a bottle into a can.
It was great to see so many new people joining us at our Tap Room. If you missed out, then the Tap Room will again be open on the weekend of the 17-18th of February, or check the other times on our Tap Room page.
Until next week, keep well
